Northend United vrs Dromara Village Saturday 16th October 2021
The 2011s were up against Dromara Village and after beating them a few weeks ago they were hoping for the same result this time around. In a quite first half with not much football being played, Northend opened the scoring just before half time with some nice football by Rory Garrett releasing Sonny Martin to cross the ball for Jayden Cassley to make it 1 nil. Half time 1-0
The second half was not long started and Northend found themselves 2-1 down. The team responded well with a second goal with some nice passing between O’Neill and Weir Rodgers who put Daniel Biegacz through on goal and he made no mistake. With a couple of mins to go Weir Rodgers thought he had scored the winner for the Blues but there was still time for Dromara to equalise. Full time 3-3

Northend United vrs Hillsborough Boys Saturday 2nd October 2021
Northend played a well organised and skilful Hillsborough Boys team on Saturday morning and were up against it from the second minute when Northend gave the ball away when counter attacking and from a long ball a Hillsborough player nipped in, to score.
That was the story for the rest of the game as Northend kept giving the ball away and Hillsborough went on to score more goals. The backline of McCarroll, Garrett, Hudson and Devlin never stopped when under pressure and the rest of the team tried right to the end and should have scored a few themselves.

Northend United vrs Annagh United Saturday 25th September
The 2011s were up against Annagh FC this week and from the start they looked comfortable on the ball. Northend took the lead half-way through the first half when Jonah Weir Rodgers cooled slotted the ball into the bottom corner after some nice passing down the right hand side by Charlie O’ Neill and Ava Carroll. The team kept pressing and should have been rewarded with a more convincing lead at half time Half time 1-0
Early into the second half and the lead was doubled with a great cross by Weir Rodgers to the toe of Jayden Cassley who made no mistake. The match turned when Annagh scored a bullet free kick into the top corner, by this stage the young Northend we’re struggling with no subs to call upon this week and Annagh scored a late equaliser. Full time 2-2

Northend United vrs Dromara Saturday 18th September 2021
The AIB sponsored Northend United U11s went into this game with Dromara with 2 defeats recorded although that all changed winning 6-4 in what was a goal blitz. Northend started on the front foot and with a high press forced Dromara into some mistakes at the back early on but were unable to capitalize on their dominance by hitting the bar and forcing the keeper into several good saves. They did however break the deadlock within 10 minutes when Jayden Cassidy on the left wing pushed on to press the right back to played the ball across their goal only for Jonah Weir Rodgers to intercept and net low past the keeper. Northend continued to play some good football out from the back, Rory Garret in center back found Eva Carroll who played the ball up the line to Jonah who beat two players before scoring a screamer of a goal into the keeper top left-hand corner. Northend buzzing with taking 2-0 lead within 15 minutes continued to push and press for their 3rd which was completed by Jayden Cassidy when Jonah Weir Rodgers played a brilliant ball across from the right-hand side which Jayden Cassley smashed into the back of the net leaving the keeper no chance. Northend played some brilliant football in this first half but couldn’t add to their account despite hitting the cross bar twice but in fact it was Dromara that would add one just before half time when Northend made a defense error that allowed Dromara to slide the ball past the on rushing Phelem Devlin in goals.
Northend with all their dominance in the 2nd half found it difficult to create clear cut opportunities and lost their shape a bit and it was Dromore who scored a quick-fire double. Northend shell shocked to throw away a 2-goal lead never crumbled and got their shape and within 10 seconds of coming back onto the pitch Jaden added his 2nd and northend 4th when he intercepted the keeper poor goal kick to shoot first time giving the keeper no chance. Within 2 minute the same player completed his hat-trick when he went on a mazy run on the left before cutting in on his right foot to slot into the far corner of the goal. Northend beyond by this continued to press high up the pitch and continued to force the Dromara defence into mistake, Charlie O’Neill won the ball into midfield and played it back to Rory Garrett whose cross-field ball found Jonah who took on to players on the right before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the goal to also complete his hat-trick. Northend now 6-2 up took the foot of the gas and allowed Dromara back into the game as the scored 2 quick fire goals but Northend done well to hold onto the Win.
This was a brilliant team performance which had it all, great pressing, great defense work at times and some lovely football going forward but a special mention to Jonah Weir Rodgers who worked his socks off in midfield all day and also completed a hat-trick for his efforts.

Northend United vrs Lisburn Rangers Saturday 11th September 2021
The 2011s were on the back foot from the very start against a slick Lisburn Rangers side and found themselves 3 nil down at half time. With the young Blues still coming to terms with the pace of this league, they were guilty of missed opportunities, hitting the crossbar and not getting shots on target from close range, they could possibly of went in at half time at 3-3.
Lisburn added 2 more to their total in the second half, to finish off a good display. Best for Northend on the day was Phelem Devlin who had an inspired match in nets.

Ballymena United vrs Northend United Saturday 4th September 2021
First match for the 2011s in the Lisburn league and opponents were local team Ballymena United. Match started off a scrappy affair with both teams looking nervous. Northend with 4 new faces in the team are still finding their feet and learning how to play as a team. With a couple of errors from the defence Northend found themselves 2 nil down at half time.
The Blues grew more into the game and had a good goal disallowed for a controversial offside decision. The team worked tirelessly with some great tackles being made but the game was put to bed with a great 3rd goal from Ballymena
